• We are required to identify the tax residency status of all our customers, including individuals, entities, and controlling persons, to comply with Malaysian CRS obligations.
• Customers with tax residency outside Malaysia may have certain financial account information reported to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM), which may then be shared with the tax authorities of the respective foreign jurisdiction.
• All personal and financial information collected for CRS purposes is handled with the utmost confidentiality and is disclosed only to regulatory authorities as required by law.
• Customers must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date self-certification of their tax residency status.
• Changes to tax residency or relevant account information must be reported within 30 days to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Failure to provide the necessary information may affect our ability to provide products or services and may require reporting to IRBM.
• Account holder’s name, address, and Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• Account numbers, balances, and payments
• Country of tax residence
• Entity structure and controlling persons for relevant accounts
We may disclose personal data to:
